Pony Ma, CEO & Chairman of Tencent, spoke at 2018 China International Big Data Industry Expo, mentioning that the " Seven Star Green Data Center" built by Tencent in Gui An New District has been put into trial operation, and will store the most important data for Tencent in the future on May 28th.

Ma introduced that the Seven Star Green Data Center is built between two mountains, which is safe and concealed. With the low temperature of the cave and rich hydropower resources surrounded, the energy consumption will be effectively reduced. According to public data, the data center is located in the southwest of Jiaotianfu Road, Jinma Avenue, Gui An New District, Guizhou Province, covering a total area of about 770 mu with a tunnel of about 40 thousand square meters.
